STEEL STAMPEDE 2.0 - May 4th & 5th
For the past several years, I have been immersed in the creation of a documentary film that delves into the profound journey of life through the unique perspective of vintage motorcycle and car racing.
The parallels between racing and life itself are striking; both embark on a journey starting from birth, where pivotal decisions made in the early stages can shape the course of the entire experience.
My inspiration for this project stemmed from attending the STEEL STAMPEDE Vintage Motorcycle Race wayyy back in 2017, an event that ignited my passion for capturing these parallels on film.
This year, the race has shifted its location from Crooked River Ranch to the Deschutes County Fair and Expo Center in Redmond, Oregon. Scheduled for the first weekend in May, the event promises a thrilling experience for enthusiasts and newcomers alike.
The excitement kicks off on Saturday, May 4th, with the Trials event, where vintage motorcycles and riders take on challenging terrain and obstacles. Sunday, May 5th, features the Motocross event, filling the air with the nostalgic roar of vintage motorcycles reminiscent of races held over half a century ago.
It's a spectacle not to be missed by anyone with a love for vintage racing and the stories it unfolds.
